what you need to know about reflexology
The Treatment
The treatment is done on the feet, ankle and lower leg areas. The client remains fully clothed and is seated in a retractable chair with pillows, nestled in a blanket with soothing music enriching the senses during the treatment. It is best that the client wear comfortable clothing so that their pant legs can be rolled up. The Reflexologist will perform a set of routines and techniques with their hands that activate the healing system of the body. Reflexology is a natural healing art which works with the body in a non-invasive way which helps to promote moving the body towards a state of homeostasis (moving the body towards is natural state). Near the completion of this tranquil experience, the client is treated to a blend of fragrant oil or lotion soothingly applied to enhance and compliment their treatment session. |

Getting to know you - Consent Form
It is of the utmost importance that the Reflexologist knows about who you are and this is where your initial treatment is important. Therefore, the Reflexologist will require you to complete their Health Record (consent form). This information will allow the Reflexologist to become more aware on your current medical history, health issues, lifestyle and diet that may be affecting your body’s state and what measures of the treatment may have to be adjusted. This form is only reviewed by the Reflexologist and remains in their confidential files after the treatment.
